Pictures and text by Mark R. Hatlie
These pictures were taken on 27 June, 2006 in a park on the edge of down town Tallinn. Linda was the mother of the hero of the national epic "Kalevipoeg". The text, a poem by Marie Under, was added later. It refers to those deported to the USSR in the 40s and reads: "I still think of those taken from here. Their anguish cries up to heaven." (Translation and background info: Andres Kasekamp)
