Memorial to German Tank Destroyer Unit in Schweinfurt

This monument its stand right outside of East Gate of Ledward Barracks, Schweinfurt at MozartStra?e. It is commemorate the dead of the military vehicle Panzerjager Abteilung 38 of 2nd Panzer Division during the years of 1944- 1945. It is not any indications on when the monument was build. The pictures were taken on October 15th, 2008.

Memorial that honors the dead of Panzerjager Abteilung 38 of 2nd Panzer Division.
Male figure on west side of the monument, the man figure is like praying or begging and have a very sad gesture in his face.
It reads, "Den Gefallenen Kameraden der Panzerjaeger Abteilung 38 1939-1945" ("To the fallen comrades of the Panzerjager section 38, 1939-1945")
Emblem of 2nd Panzer Division at the top. The other symbols are German pre-NATO map symbols representing the member units of this unit.
On the East side of the monument is a female figure with sad gestures in her face with the hands together.
This is the view from the avenue that pass by, getting out of the gate in Ledward Barracks, Schweinfurt.
O zeit maechtige Todesschwester! Endloser Gang! Zu enden was je lebt vor deinem Hauch wird bleich die Wange wird stumm der Mund." ("Oh time powerful sister of death! Endless way (walk)! To end what lives, at your breath cheeks go pale and the mouth falls silent.")
From far west is could be seen the east gate of Ledward Barracks formerly known as the Panzer Kaserne.
