War Memorial in Cemetery at Sinsheim/Rohrbach

Pictures and text by Mark R. Hatlie

These pictures were taken on January 18th, 2006 in the cemetery in Rohrbach, a part of Sinsheim a little bit outside of town.

It is a simple memorial located against the wall near the entryway to the cemetery.
It reads, For the victims of both world wars (Den Opfern der beiden Weltkriege). It lists the dates for the two world wars, each date followed by names. There are no dates for when or where the men fell or when they were born as is sometimes seen on other small community memorials. The wreath reads, For the dead of the world wars / Sinsheim Rohrbach (Den Toten der Weltkriege zum Gedenken / Sinsheim Rohrbach).
