Memorial to victims of the Soviet "cheka" 1940-1941 in Riga

These pictures were taken in Riga during the first week of September, 2007. The memorial is located in the Matisa cemetery near the bridge over the railroad tracks. It memorializes those killed by the Soviet NKVD in the nearby central prison during the Soviet occupation of 1940-1941.
