Senior Airmen Jason D. Nathan Plaque Memorial located at RAF Lakenheath's Main New Gate, Gate 2, Lakenheath Village, United Kingdom.

Pictures and text by Halley Ramos-Skiff

Senior Airmen Nathan Plaque and RAF Lakenheath's new gate, Gate 2 were dedicated to the fallen Airmen on June 1, 2008. Many Airmen from the 48th Security Forces Squadron attended the dedication ceremony and so did Senior Airmen Jason D. Nathan's Mother, Grandfather. The pictures I took were taken on Wednesday July 23, 2008. I was unable to take picture of the surrounding area because of security purposes but the RAF Lakenheath's Security Forces were kind enough to allow me to take photographs of the plaque itself.

.
The memorial is a bronze plaque, with a brief description of Senior Airmen Nathan's assigned squadron. It also describes what happened the day of his death, when his convoy was hit by a roadside bomb while on patrol.
