The sign reads, "Here were buried after 1945 citizens of Essen who had been killed between 1933 and 1945 for political or ideological reasons." (Hier wurden nach 1945 Essener Bürger beigesetzt, die zwischen 1933 und 1945 aus politischen oder ideologischen Gründen in den Konzentrationslagern umgebracht worden waren.) |
