Memorial to Hessian Artillery at Park in Darmstadt

These pictures were taken on 12 February, 2006 in Darmstadt. I did not note the address, but I think this was at the northwest corner of the Prinz-Emil-Garten.

The memorial appears to have been severly damaged (see below) and put back together. It bears the coat of arms of Hessia. |

The back lists sub-units and notes that the monument was built in 1927, destroyed in 1947, and rebuilt on the 28th of June, 1953. |
