These pictures were taken on 21 June 2008. Barenthal British Cemetery is always open; however, during the winter it is very difficult or impossible to reach the cemetery due to heavy snowfall. Of the British cemeteries in this area, this is the easiest to reach. There are 126 graves with nine unidentified remains.

Supposed grave of Private E.L. Bullen. Date of death: August 26, 1918. Bullen was a Private in the 1stof the 4th Battalion, Royal Berkshire Regiment. The son of Mr. and Mrs. W. T. Bullen, of 1 Garfield Road, Great Yarmouth, England.
Grave of Private A. Bush. Date of death: June 16, 1918. Age: 33 Bush's unit was the 8th Battalion, York and Lancaster Regiment. He was the son of Charles Pass and Elizabeth Bush, and the husband of Harriett Bush, of Sheffield, England. "He died that we might live."
